Slow Boat Records, Wellington's longest running independent music store, is a veritable institution at the heart of vibrant Cuba Street in the Te Aro district.


We have a huge selection of new and used CD's, new and used rare and collectable vinyl, picture discs, 45's, videos, posters, badges, books, DVD's, tee shirts and much more. We import regularly from the US and receive new music on a daily basis from a wide range of distributors.

We buy, sell, and trade, and are always happy to look at your unwanted goods in excellent condition - we will travel to view larger collections.
